What Are Krisis Flood Bags – Dry Bags Made Of?

Krisis Flood bags are made using heavy-duty PC material, with a watertight zipper and has additional features to help ensure easy handling or management of the bag.

The material used is watertight, similar to water tanks and inflatable boats. This is why you are able to leave your Krisis Flood Bags fully submerged in water for up to four weeks if you are unable to get back into your home or business without the contents being damaged. Here are the features of our waterproof flood bags:

1. They Have A Watertight Zipper

Krisis Flood Bags are designed to stay watertight even if they become fully submerged in water for a long duration of time. One of the reasons they are able to achieve this is through the use of watertight zippers.

2. Heat-Sealed Joins

Krisis Flood Bags use heat-sealing technology to create a completely watertight join. This is because stitched joining creates holes that can allow water to enter.

3. Anchor Points

Water is a force to be reckoned with and if it floods your home, it can get into every crevice and displace furniture and belongings. That is why Krisis Flood Bags have anchors sewn onto a separate piece of PVC and attached with heat welding to secure the bag in position during the flood.

The anchor points are attached this way to prevent needle holes in the bag’s main compartment, which can compromise water tightness.

4. Carry Handles

Our convenient carry handles are also sewn onto a separate piece of heat-welded PVC to ensure water tightness. This attachment method does not compromise on strength, with handles tested to bear up to 3744 N/381 kg of force.
